NFL — the teams and the numbers
All 32 National Football League teams, each with its record since 1999, and a calculator for the league's famously awkward passer rating. The records are counted from open results data, not copied from anyone; every page says exactly where its figures come from.

Who leads, and on what
Each list is ranked on ONE number and says which, over the years the figures cover. None of them claims to be an all-time ranking: the statistics begin in 1999, so a list of the best ever would be missing everyone who played before then.
- Most passing yards — quarterbacks
- Most rushing yards — running backs
- Most receiving yards — wide receivers
- Most receiving yards — tight ends
- Most sacks — defensive linemen
- Most sacks — linebackers
- Most solo tackles — linebackers
- Most interceptions — defensive backs
- Most field goals — kickers
- Teams by wins, by win percentage and by play-off wins

Where the numbers come from
Team identities, founding years and divisions from Wikidata (public domain); won–lost records counted from nflverse open data (CC BY 4.0). Records cover 1999–2026 only, because that is the current 32-team era and the window over which every team here existed as it does now. Regular-season and playoff results since 1999, which is where the source begins; earlier franchise history is not included. The Houston Texans began in 2002 and so have three fewer seasons than the other 31 clubs -- see seasonsPlayed on each record.
