File converters
588 conversions, grouped by what you are starting from. Every one runs in your browser — the file never leaves your device, so there is nothing to upload, nothing to queue for and nothing of yours on anybody's server.
Nothing is uploaded. The conversion happens on your own device, in the page you are reading. That is also the limit of it: very large files are bounded by your own memory rather than by a server's, and a format that needs a licensed codec is not here at all.

Why these run in your browser
Every other converter site works the same way: you upload the file, a server converts it, you download the result. That means your document sat on somebody else's machine, and you have only their word about what happened to it next.
These do the work in the page. The file is read by your browser, converted by your browser and saved by your browser. No copy is made anywhere else, which is a stronger promise than a privacy policy because there is no server in the story to keep one.
The cost is honest: your device does the work, so a very large file is limited by your own memory, and a few formats are missing because their codecs are patent-encumbered rather than because they were hard.
