All 15 IPL clubs by wins

All 15 clubs that have played in the IPL, ranked on the number of IPL matches won. Five of them no longer exist, and two pairs that look like one club under two names are not: the Deccan Chargers were terminated and replaced, and Pune Warriors are not the later Rising Pune Supergiant.

How this list is made

Clubs are ranked on the number of IPL matches won, and on nothing else. Where two are level they share a rank, and the list runs past fifty when fiftieth place is shared, because splitting a tie would mean choosing between them on no stated basis.

A club that was renamed keeps its record. Delhi, Punjab and Bengaluru each appear once, under the name they use now, with every match they played under the old one. Which pairs are renames and which are different clubs was settled against Wikidata rather than guessed from the fixtures, because a terminated franchise and a renamed one look identical in a results table.
